44# barley ? If I had 44# barley I'd be stuck with it, nobody would want that to feed to cattle. Maybe you meant 54# ?



Ja - - - - I wouldn't really want 44# barley but when they talk about 28# oats I cringe - - - I wouldn't want to touch that stuff.
So was thinking if she's plenty hot they might not be getting that nice heavy barley we're used to so adjusted my thinking for the likelihood of lighter bu weight.
I've had some barley, cleaned, that I got to 56#/bu on. Doesn't happen all the time but its nice when it does.
Its also easy to get to 44# barley - - - just takes a good frost at the right (or is that the wrong) time.
