MN | Things that fight the concentration of wealth. There is this whole apparatus in this country that funnels money to the top of heap, lets not kid ourselves at this moment in time we are really choosing between competing socialisms.
Socialism for the rich OR socialism for the poor.
I'd say the pendulum has swung too far to the rich side, the FED prints money to bail out Banks and the Stock Market. This helps the people that own the banks and equities. It interrupts the cycle that levels things out. If the govt is going to step in and save the rich it only stands to reason should do the same for the bottom of the spectrum as well.
So I'd say for starters:
Universal health care, so people aren't beholden to their jobs for insurance. People would be more able to negotiate on more equal footing for their labor if they weren't beholden to their jobs for their health. Think it could be done for an overall lower cost as well and would actually help smaller businesses retain and/or recruit talent. Decoupling our insurance coverage from where we work would have many benefits. (to both employer and employee)
