N FLA | JD, I had a 3 year old lose her calf a few months ago. I scheduled her at the slaughter plant. I never gave any additional feed because the "hunting club" kept leaving gates open and she kept getting back with the herd. I sold halves and made this clear she was a grass heifer only no grain. Both customers said that's fine.
