Treat it like a cast iron pan. If you do get rust just use a power sanding tool and season. One of my sons bought one for himself for fathers day Smash burgers are hard to beat. You tube has things to look at on them
Just curious, how is those black stones any different than a cast iron pan on a regular gas grill?
I’ve had great success with a cast iron pan on a regular grill, but the pan requires a lot of maintenance, and it seems if the pan is not perfectly seasoned, results suffer greatly. And once the pan loses its seasoning, it’s hard to get it “right” again.
I assume black stones are similar?
