I withhold for Medicare and SS if it is a student working as a temp. I don't withhold income tax because a student probably won't have a taxable liability. I have my accountant handle sending in the quarterly payments because the IRS gets very nasty with payroll error's and I prefer to have my accountant talk to them rather than me.
