Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Same for me. I’m set for 15 GPA. My summary shows 15.2. This is due to having a minimum GPM set. I slow down to turn around and the minimum GPM takes over when I restart until I get back up to normal speed. I believe this is why my field overall average is usually at 15.2 when set to 15.0.
This guarantees that I don’t have any tip check off at slower speeds. It does result in over application at slower speeds. This is usually more desirable than have some tips check off. I purposely slow down for extra weedy spots knowing that the low limit will take over and apply at a higher rate. Another option would be to switch to Rate 2 or MANUAL. Slowing down seems easier.
