The best and maybe only tid bit I have gotten from a banker that was valuable was " that bank is going to close on Friday" . I had a few days to get things in order. I am pretty sure she shouldn't have told me that.
Otherwise, if a banker thinks something is a good idea, read that as he thinks he will get his money back with a profit.
