NEMO | Jim, it's hard to draw any conclusions from one animal. There is lots of variation within genetic families in the breeds. I know several breeders that source genetics out of Canada. They go up there in the summer heat to see which cows are haired off to select bull calves from. That is exactly opposite of what some of the Canadians want, as they want hair for cold weather.
