central Ohio | I would like to take a look at the video of the mature bull you mentioned (out of curiosity).
Even though I consider Ohio to be primarily "show cattle" country, there are a few of us Buckeye hardheads who breed cattle for the real world.
I've bought two clean-up bulls from a rancher in western Montana. I've never been to his ranch but I'd met him before & knew he was a good cattleman. He sent me a DVD of the bulls he thought I would be interested in. The first thing he showed was the bulls' feet because he said "This is where it all starts." I've never forgotten that.
