EC SoDak | That’s great news! I’m glad you caught a rain, I heard it was getting pretty dry in some areas.
Driving around after my .6-1.25” rain (I can’t believe how soft and sloppy the gravel roads are still) the lower areas are saturated and have some standing water. So even with the heat and extreme wind, apparently it wasn’t too dry. But, the hilltops appreciated the rain.
I looked at the satellite maps of my fields from a couple days ago On FieldView, it looks like the lower areas are the least healthy of the fields. I was surprised because we haven’t had that much rain and planted into nice conditions, FieldView shows 4-9” for the season totals. Apparently the profile is still overly full. | |
