Central Nebraska | BigNorsk - 6/18/2020 07:49 Lots of people claim what you are asking. I noticed when my blood sugars would spike, it was as they came down and bottomed, that I would be very hungry until the liver kicked in production and the sugars would come back up a little.
I'm the same way and have been all my life. I've been told I'm borderline hypoglycemic. I've had a few blood tests over the years where everything was good but the commented on blood sugar being low. Running with low blood sugar can be a real struggle. It often hits be between mile 2 and 3. If I can slow down and get through it my run will be good. Other times I crash. Once I called my wife and didn't know where I was......even though I could see my house across the section.
BTW....the hardest part about limiting sugar is opening the cupboard and looking at two packages of Double Stuffed Oreos. |
