Does anybody know of a good source to get Gehl blades for a halfway reasonable price? The local dealer is higher than a kite. Maybe it’s like that no matter where you go. I don’t want to get any off brand blades. Dad did that a while back and they didn’t last. TIA

Lund is the name of the company that makes chopper blades if for not all then most of the manufacturers.
Find their contact info and call them - - - - bet they have replacements.
Do they have them by the Gehl part numbers - - - - nope.

You will need info like dia of drum and number of blades and thickness and width of blades and maybe even more.

If they don't have any in stock - - - - they you're going to either need to buy for all your buddies to get an order together or things are pricey.

When I talked to them - - - - longer time ago - - - they seemed reasonable to deal with. Dunno how things are today.

Might be time to find a better chopper as that might be your best option.
As only Dion is making a pull-type chopper they are going to get very hard to find soonish.

I used to run a Gehl 800 and a 1250. OEM Gehl knives were Lund back then.
