North Central Illinois | I don’t know if we will hit 97 million but it will be closer than most want to believe. I’m thinking 96 to 96.5. For whatever reason I am seeing more COC acres around here. If guys cut back on fertilizer they had some to spare in the bank thus no yield impact. Very few people are cutting back on N to raise less bushels. There are likely some cutting back but a lot of them were probably putting on a little too much anyway so likely little impact to national crop size. This idea that guys cut corners on everything and the national yield will suffer is a fantasy. | |
