Subject: RE: Outback RTK base and receiver communication

Hiawatha, KS
You need that whip antenna and which one you order is dependent on which radio is in your A220. You can hook up the A220 to your computer using PocketMax and a GoldX cable to find that out. Keep in mind the A220 and A321 need to have the same radio to work with each other. You can find the Base radio by going to your radio (Base Station>Radio>Enter). If you set a channel, you have a 900MHz radio. If you have to set a frequency, you have a 400MHz radio. Or, the easy way is to see how many black insulator knobs are on the whip antenna of your A320/A321. If there is one insulator, it is a 400 MHz. If it has 2, it is a 900 MHz. Once that is figured out, you can call into Outback Guidance or your nearest dealer to order the proper whip antenna. Use this link to find your nearest dealer: https://www.outbackguidance.com/Support/Dealer-Locator

To change your Base Station Modes: Base Station>Radio>Mode. For the 900 MHz you will change to Slow. For the 400 MHz you will need PC1.

Also, is everything RTK unlocked?

As you have said you are fairly inexperienced with this stuff, it is highly recommended you get in contact with your nearest dealer using the Dealer Locator. The dealer will need the A220 in order to work on it and verify if it will work or not.
