Winston Churchill was famous for his long after lunch naps. He said everybody should take a nap, and he said don't mess around just laying back in a chair. He said take your clothes off, climb in bed and cover up for a good hour or two.
But he would work late into the night also.
I never have been a good nap taker. I just can't really get to sleep good, so I am groggy the rest of the day if I try for a nap.
I've run across a few of churchill's famous quotes throughout my life, and I can never figure out what was so great about the man. After all, he still needed us to come over and bail them out of two wars.... |
