My dad took a nap most days after the noon meal, which was the biggest meal of the day and called dinner. After eating he would lay down on the floor in the hall, close his eys and be asleep within 60 seconds. He'd sleep 10-20 minutes and be ready to go for the rest of the day.
Same for my dad during hay bale pitching time of year.He could lay down and the next breath he was snoring. 10 minutes later he sprang up and was running again and ready to pitch more bales in the summer heat and horse flies.
