Subject: Another cut in the ethanol grind coming in future WASDE's

The WASDE has last crop year's ethanol grind at 5,430.  They lowered yesterday's number for 2019/20 by 50 million bushels to 4,900 myn bushels.

However in this week's ethanol update.. cumulatively we are 405.4 myn bushels behind last year's pace.. and this week we fell another 26.7 myn bushels behind.. we only have a 130 myn bushel cushion for the next 12 weeks.

The Grind is still coming back online so we should be able to close the gap somewhat.. but we need to cut it in half.. or take our grind up to.. an AVERAGE of around 967 k bbls per day.. give or take.  That's an increase of 130 k bbls per day.. we only added 72 k bbls per day this past week.

It's possible.. but we really need to see a swift return in demand.. yes we are seeing the burn rate at 933 k bbls per day but that is relying on exports as the domestic gasoline usage was only 765 k bbls per day.

These numbers are possible.. but.. hmm.. looking less likely each passing week.

Then the WASDE has us at 5,200 myn bushel grind for next year.. an equally dauting task given the state of the economic activity to this point..

NO ROOM for a 2nd quarantine at all in any of these projections.. as we'll barely and optimistically be able to do it without it.

It's possible if things really catch fire and the economy comes roaring back like it was.. possible.. but we need to see more substantive improvement in order to realize that.

If corn prices break.. then maybe..??
