All phones have internal antennas so one phone can have better reception than another. One of factors when buying my Galaxy S8 a while back was that it was supposed to have a really good antenna, comparatively speaking. I switched from a land line to a mobile phone that stays at home a few months ago, too. It was a Galaxy A10E as well (Verizon). I haven't noticed poorer reception than my S8... Then again I have really good reception in general... The bigger factor is likely going to be your mobile network. If it is already marginal, a phone with a better antenna may perform better than others... Probably the best way to test is side-by-side- Find someone on your network with a 'better' phone and make calls at the same time from the same location. This will tell you real quick if the phone is to blame... good luck -jim |
