Subject: Am I going to fail my MN State electrical inspection? Pics

Le Sueur VIA St.Thomas
Hello,

When I finished my garage a dozen years ago I added a 28" pvc conduit from my breaker panel straight down into my basement so I could easily run wires into my basement someday. Well, 'Someday' was yesterday... It's just that now I don't think the inspector will appreciate it as much as I do. Check out the pics of both ends. Is this going to pass? My 'electrician' is coming tomorrow, but you guys are smarter than him :^)

Plan B is to cut out the rock below my panel in the garage and do it the 'right' way with knockout clamps for the romex. I don't want to fail inspection and have to wait for him to come back. Should I ditch the pvc and go with clamps? Can I use the same big hole in the bottom plate to run the wires or will the inspector not like that , either?

good luck -jim
