Try this.

Nathans hot dog grilled from the night before cold from the fridge (none of those cheap chicken hot dogs, yuck. Buy good beef/pork hot dogs). Wrap around it a slice of your favorite cheese. I like pepper jack or colby jack. Around that wrap a slice of Fanestil ham. Good ham, not the cheap rubber stuff. Then if you feel the need for greenery wrap around all that a leaf of lettuce, optional. Zip lock bag, eat cold. Could also do the same with Italian sausage or Brat.
