NE Iowa | I pull a 30+’ camper with mine. Not going to go cross country with it and no land speed records, but it does alright. More of a ‘tail wagging the dog’ deal than any power train issues. The 8 spd tranny really makes it workable. Another thing I didn’t mention above is that I think this Tran spends very little time with torque converter unlocked. My comparison trucks are 03 F350 with E4OD and whatever was in my 10 F150. Overheating the Tran in this RAM due to extended time with unlocked TC is just not going to happen. Not the same experience with those other 2. Maybe all newer trucks act like this RAM. | |
