You keep the roundup up always it is doing more good than you think. In areas where you don’t have much resistant waterhemp, why speed process up? Don’t forget how we got here reduced rates multiple apps etc.... it’s all a piece of the puzzle. The stinger meso and roundup is powerful and roundup is cheap So why skimp? That mix with no roundup in the tank is not that special unless weeds are really small. Like 1 inch and below. I have sprayed lots of resicore meso etc and every time I reduce rate of roundup it disappoints me. Don’t forget stinger is a growth regulator grant it not a huge rate in resicore and all growth regulators antagonize grass herbicides including roundup. I burned down some rye with 2-4 couple years ago and one field didn’t use 2-4d. Where the 2-4d and roundup was in my book lines you could pick out easily where I backed in corner and took off.
