Braham MN. | Here's a bean field that the neighbor PP'd last year, that I now farm.
He had me spray it late July. Used liberty on 6 foot tall giant ragweed, grass, and pigweed. Sadly no pics.... The Liberty smoked the grass but that was about it. So I hit it with the disc Sept 1st. That's the first pic.
I hit it again with the disc late Oct which did a good job of atleast showing some dirt. I knew the weed seed bank would be HUGE.
I worked it May 10th with the field cultivator and incorporated trefilan and Authority MTZ at the same time, Ran out on the last couple acres, you can see right to the line where I ran out.
I was out spot spraying RU on beans before I got to the corn and took that third pic.
Moral of story, the $12 in pre's is money well spent.
