Subject: RE: Outback S - No DGPS

Hiawatha, KS
Unfortunately the only way to check the antenna is to hook it up to another monitor (S, S2, S3, STS, or STX) that you know is working correctly. If it doesn't allow DGPS on the 2nd monitor, then the antenna is bad. If it works well, then the receiver board in your S is bad. The Outback S is no longer repaired by Outback Guidance or Ag Express due to the availability of parts.
You could call your nearest dealer and see if he has an antenna that will work on your S if you do not have another monitor or know anyone who has an S, S2, S3, STS, or STX. All of these monitors use the same type of antenna. For now all that can be said is either your antenna is bad or your receiver board is bad. Use the Dealer Locator link below to find your nearest dealer.

If you have an eDrive on your tractor that you use in conjunction with the S, you qualify for the eDriveTC trade in program. Follow the link below.

If you prefer using just a lightbar for guidance, there is the option of purchasing an S-Lite. It has better accuracy and more memory than the S but does not allow for auto-steer. You can contact your local dealer to see if he has any S-Lite's or contact Outback Guidance Customer Support for more information at 1-800-247-3808.
