South Central Ohio | I have had this tractor for 2 years and first time I have hooked the disc to it. Its a White 271 disc, 21' . Seems to me something is not right, maybe I am wrong
Disc is in the ground about 3", Pyrometer will climb close to the yellow warning zone. 9th gear about 1850rpms. If gear up to 10th gear and throttle down, temp goes up really quickly and will go past yellow to red.
Engine temp is running about halfway on gauge
I use to pull this disc with a Ford 9700 and never had any issue, I would think the 8970 would have power to play with this disc
