| Have a loud banging sound on a Case IH 7088 combine that I can't seem to figure out. It doesn't happen when the separator is first engaged but seems to be after 5 seconds or so. Very loud bang bang bang and shakes combine violently until you shut off separator and everything comes to a stop. I've tried rolling the chopper and seems to be okay and bearings aren't hot. I've also tried engaging the separator with the rotor in neutral and still get the same sound. Seems to be louder on the right side of machine but that could just be coincidence.
Any ideas on what or where to check?
