Ok the 2021 guy said was not controlled by JD. Guess he was wrong. I only plant beans every other yr. one field is 17 miles each way. I hire that planted (and mine at home as for $13 A acre they pick up totes, plant 22” so I have them do all beans. Odd yrs just 90 acres beans Near home I plant 30” rows. ( any excuse I hire but I bought meters, feel bad I spent $90 per row, hardly use them.) plus I get rid of extra seed easier then huge single hopper electric everything planter.
Since I bought new marker disks fir planter now is time to quit using them. Yep I pause at each row end. Amazing how much seed you waste lifting while driving. Geese love my neighbors field at planting. Flocks on headlands. (I’m amazed they don’t die?)
I looked at system for older tractors. They consider 2000 “OLD”. 2594 late 80s tractor. Maybe my 02 NH TS 110. $5000 use it for pre emerged spray, planting...
