N. Ala | I have 2 steers(1-1350# 1-#1300#) that will be processed on June 15 and they have been on free choice hay, 10# per head of 15% protein feed and the rest in cracked corn(currently 10# per head). The feed mill that makes the feed said to feed them 10# per head on the feed and anything over in cracked corn at 1.25% of their body weight. I have 3 more around 1100# that I am feeding 15# per day of the combination. | |
