| Before we slay the USDA for their reports over the next year or so, I say we start by everyone here giving us their best guess on what national acres, yield, demand, and carryout will be this year and you can only complain about the USDA if you come closer than they do to the real numbers.
This is in jest but most of this summer the 2 hot topics will be USDA is wrong and weather. I don't mind talking about the weather but the USDA stuff frustrates me because there's no one here who could be that close year in and year out. They're not perfect, but if there was a better source for info the market would use it instead of USDA data. | |
