Similar to MaineFarmer here but no almond flour and more cheese. Two eggs and one cup of shredded cheese. That's it. Some salt. The original chaffle recipe. Can either mix it in a bowl and spoon it into the waffle maker or for a more crispy chaffle can layer in some shredded cheese, egg, then more shredded cheese. The cheese against the waffle maker will get more crispy that way. For variations sometimes wife will add 1 teaspoon of coconut flour. That will make it a little more bread like. Any kind of seasoning you like, depending on what you will be eating the chaffles with or using it as sandwich bread. We personally try to not get carried away with almond flour. It is probably fine for most people but it is not particularly easy to digest and has a lot of oxylates if a person has any bowel problems. So if it causes discomfort might want to substitute coconut flour. Takes a lot less of coconut flour because of its absorbency. Some of these get pretty fancy but all you really need is two eggs and a cup of shredded cheese. Salt to taste. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=chaffles Some of the Aussie doctors are fantastic. Check out Dr Paul Mason and Dr Gary Fetke . Also his wife Belinda has some really interesting on how we got to where we are concerning nutrition. Edit: Oops......... Fettke is not an Aussie. Just talks like one. Think he is from New Zealand? Or maybe Tasmania. Can't remember. Oh well, you southern hemisphere people all look alike......LOL. Wife has been twice and myself once to Australia. Great friendly people. Would like to go back.
