The subsidized multi peril policy is cheap as dirt. You don’t have weather? If you have drought, wind hail or floods, it’s a no brainer. If you are rich, why take the chance for a handful of dollars per acre.


My farthest fields are 80+ miles apart. Anywhere from 1acre to 75 acres. If I was in the easy I States with nothing but nice 80s within a mile of home weather would concern me more.
