West Central Iowa | Anyone familar the remote valve lever housing on these tractors. I have a customer with a broken part that I think must be the rotating sleeve that either locks the lever to the on position or locks out the float position or maybe both. Anyway, he brought me in a repair kit part number 3907279M93 and wanted to know if we would take a look at it. The parts man at the MF dealership made it sound like it was an almost impossible job to replace just these parts and instead they replace the complete control housing, which according to my customer is a lot more expensive then just this repair kit. Very few MF's around here, so just wondering what kind of job we might be getting into. I have looked it up on the MF parts listing but they don't show the kit parts in the exploded view, the kit is just drawn off to the side, so I can't really tell how it all goes together.
