Maybe the meat should be used like the steak in a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. The meat for these sandwiches is steak that is sliced very thin and then cooked briefly on a very hot griddle or pan and then put on a long bun with cheese, and fried peppers and onions. Here is a link to a recipe from Bobby Flay. A well made Philly Cheese steak is a great sandwich.
