North east Iowa | I have a purple, it is the earlier original one. Been on it for a year and a half now. It is very soft, but it does cradle your whole body. There is almost no movement transfered through the bed if you move in it. I always like a good firm mattress, but I do sleep pretty well on it. As far as heat it stays cool. Not only do I have a mattress, but also a seat cushion. One of the best things I have bought as it really pads the sitting muscles and keeps them cool for them 16+ hour days behind a steering wheel. For what it is worth, slept on a sleep number one night, was not impressed. Would definitely give purple a shot since they have a trial period. One last thing, they are heavy, really need a stout bed frame. | |
