I can't speak to why after an X amount of time the ML stops communicating, but the ML on that machine is going to act much differently than the wings. The wings are being controlled by the Norac proportional valves. Where guessing the ML is being controlled by the Machines valve with is an on/off valve. It will not make as smooth of movements or be as quick to react. Also for future reference, placing items such as cardboard, plywood, or your hand under the sensors is a bad way to test the system. Depending what mode the sensors are in it can be ignoring what you put under it until it cant see around the item you're holding. the best way to actually test if its working is move the boom off of your set target height and put it into auto and test its functionality that way.
