Thank you all so much for the help! A black plastic piece that holds the cable and spring straight came off the top of the hydro and when you pushed the lever forward it was making a U shape instead of letting it extend all the way. I put the black plastic piece on and it’s works fine now. Thank goodness it was an easy fix.
