Burn 2 gallons an acre chiseling, disc and FC are much less.

Getting tanks filled tuesday for 1.29...... I can chisel and disc for $4 in fuel.

Biggest downside way up here is usually combining beans in Oct. I've got to hustle if I want to pull disc over the bean stubble before it freezes. Not uncommon to combine corn on frozen ground. As much as I like tillage, I do not like erosion. I try my best to minimize it.
