Subject: RE: Swather accumulators

If you set the head on the ground and shut the engine off you should be able to open the header drop valves and hear the oil flow through them indicating there's charge in the accumulator.

I'd check the O-rings and backup rings on the solenoid valves in the block on the RH side.

I have had them disintegrate on both a HW345 and H8080 and causes funny issues with the float.

Is it just one side or both that don't float properly?

I've also had an electric pressure reducing valve fail and cause float issues also. Can switch LH and RH valves to narrow it down if that's the case. If you need one they have the Eaton number on them and are a 1/3 of the $ vs CNH.
