To qualify your income needs to be $ 75000 or less or $150000 for a couple. And I heard 2018 tax statement. On which line of your 1040 do they take your income? Total line 6 on 1040, adjusted line 7, or taxable income line 10. My wife and I both got or checks today. $16 dollars and some cents. I think were getting screwed.

If your stimulus check was $16 for a married couple with no kids, or even $16 each, then they were using an income number just over $197,000.

"Also note that the IRS, which will issue the payments, will look at your 2019 tax return for your filing status, AGI, and information about your children. If you haven't yet filed your 2019 return (now due July 15), the IRS will go to your 2018 return for the necessary information."
