Welcome to the dark side. I think the glory days of ag equipment was the 1980-1990 time frame. Nice enough to be comfortable, but mechanical and fixable. I’m a small timer but actually downgraded equipment to get back into this category- some of the stuff I was running had electronic components NLA, so if they went out and you couldn’t find one for salvage that’s where the tractor was going. There are times a nicer ride or a buddy seat would be REALLY nice, but not out a lot if they grenade either. Really like my 8070 with a 8.3 repower.

I agree about the time frame. Better hydraulics, 15+ speed transmissions, good MFWD systems, but before electronic controls were the norm.
