Glasgow, Ky | To make sure I understand, you bought one parcel and someone else bought the other. How is the rent being handled on the parcel you did not buy? Yours should be done the same way. Assuming the rent is being prorated on the parcel you did not buy then seller would have received prorated rent if someone else had purchased your parcel.
Doesn't matter who purchased each parcel, seller gets prorated rent.
