| I’ve spent some time on the relatives Illinois Farm and one of the advantages down there is the calendar.
“Banner year”?
Pretty much a -hell no- now. It’s May 22 the corn planted April 22 is 2 inches tall and some of it has stand issues....
I hope it straightens out for you, I know it’s frustrating.

Looks like IL may miss out on the party this year. MN, IA, NE are set up for banner years and with 3 of the top 4 states in that shape it will take a big summer weather problem to be below trend. Fwiw my area is about 30% planted and too wet for at least a few days. If forecasts holds it will be well into June before it dries out enough to roll.
