Osakis, MN | All done planting for almost 2.5 weeks, planting was basically non stop here. It was too dry before we started to plant. I waited for a week or two for the ground to warm up and figured it was worth it to plant. It rained once since we started planting in late April 3/4" to 1.3". We were sitting for a couple of days only. Since that rain it's been a few sidewalk wetting rains, a tenth here or there.
Lawn is turning brown in pockets of gravelly sandy areas this week. I'd be completely satisfied with a nice inch or two.
Central, MN has been getting passed up by the rain so far. We have pretty good subsoil moisture, fixed a plugged tile yesterday, I was a muddy mess before I was done.
