Refer trailer would be a good cooler
That'd be perfect for a shared unit. Thanks
Buy your reefer without the reefer motor (and its junk) and the running gear - - - - if you need to.
Then you drop in one top end portable air conditioner - - - - at least 11k BTU and get the IIRC coolermaster or the digital control so you can get the space to about 42 or 44 F.
Need to close the hole where the reefer sits and likely do some other very minor mods but then you're off to the races.
Easy enough to lock up and big enough so that you could hang say 4 beeves and still have room for 4 or 5 people for cutting up and the equipment (52' reefer trailer).
Should be able to get one of those for under $5k.
Might not be enough refrigeration if you're at 100F and want to butcher but for anything say up to 90F you should be good - - - the issue will be how often you're opening and closing the big back doors!
