The reason we were over in the Middle East was to protect the petrodollar! Saddam Hussein, Omar Qaddafi, and Ayatollah Khomeini were planning to accept payment for oil with gold or other fiat currencies other than the US petrol dollars (reserve currency of the world).
If this would occur the US Fiat currency's value will devalue drastically. | |
