I think there is a difference in an "old" steak and an "aged" steak.

My understanding is (and it could be wrong) the ageing process stops once the meat is frozen.

But at any rate, it is good that it turned out good.

I have no clue what lurks in the depths of our freezer. Too scary for me. That is my wife's domain.
