So he is well qualified to speak on the subject. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2nfiNjcKx8 I don't agree with him when he starts talking about legislation to address the problem, but I am absolutely with him that the education and guidelines need to be emphasized and changed respectively. If you don't watch all of it at least go to minute 13 to get the explanation of the difference between glucose and fructose metabolism. Watch for a couple minutes. Fructose generally does not raise serum blood glucose levels (so is generally thought to be safe for diabetics), but it much more damaging than glucose to health when consumed excessively because it damages the liver and causes fatty liver disease.
