I waited till after mom’s day to post this. Bought a new Pitboss at Menards right about the time the Kung flu broke out. The model I bought is half pellet grill and half gas grill. I’ve used the pellet side about half a dozen times including ribs yesterday for the family. The food turned out good, but will get better the more I use it and fine tune my methods (first pellet grill for me).Very pleased with how fast it heats up and the ability to smoke and do some creative cooking. Used the gas side for the first time yesterday to cook some chicken breasts and wow will that get hot, got them off just before things got ugly!

The whole package works great for our family because wife likes to cook on LP when I’m busy, and I like mixing it up and toying with the pellet side. Only downside is that both sides are a little smaller cooking area than preferred here. The grill was $699 before the 11% rebate.
