NE Nebraska | Visit to doctor or therapist. There could be either physical or emotional issues going on. Since she's had previous quirks I'd guess some emotional issues. If she were to exhibit that behavior around her peers it could create some real social problems as well. Better to get it checked now. If you don't want to do the doctor or therapist give her a 2 week homework assignment to log each time she licks something and what she licks. Then challenge her to decrease the frequency. Maybe she's not aware how much she's doing it. | |
