Curious who bought the land. I assume Wards at Larned. I had heard that they were purchasing a lot the last few years.
Cheap or not cheap a feedlot in the sand is a disaster on a wet winter. No floor at all to stop that sinking of each hoof. Gains go down and dead's go up.
